Community Lodgings has been selected to receive $1M in unrestricted grant support from Citi Foundation through the Community Progress Makers initiative, which connects low-income communities to economic opportunities. We are thrilled to be recognized at the national level as one of 50 visionary nonprofit organizations participating in Cohort #4. The CPM grant is a three-year investment by Citi Foundation that will help Community Lodgings expand its reach in the community we serve, provide additional supportive resources, and build capacity.
The CPM initiative of $1M is the single, largest grant award received in the organization’s 37-year history. As a human service provider, Community Lodgings has a decades-long history of lifting hardworking, low-income families from instability to independence through Transitional Housing, Affordable Housing, and Youth Education Programs in Alexandria, VA.
