When our Girls’ Mentoring Group volunteer Holly Musurick (pictured center) began with us three years ago, we’ll bet she never expected a surprise bridal shower!
Katherine, a mentee with the group says that Holly “is always positive and smiling.” Maybe that’s why her (lucky, in our opinion) fiancé popped the question! It was exciting for the whole mentoring group when Holly got engaged, and our mentees decorated their meeting space and threw her bridal shower.
One of our mentees summed it up perfectly, saying, “It’s a special day for her outside of mentoring so we want it to be a special day here too. It’s cute and it’s nice.” Congratulations Holly and thanks for your commitment to volunteering with us.
